New Executive Departments Created 

Under this administration, three new Departments have been created according to the process outlined in the Tribal Constitution. All 3 programs were formally under the Department of Administration and due to the scope of each program, program funding, services provided, and the future needs of the Tribes, Executive Departments were created.

• Department of Business – Nathan Hart, Executive Director

• Department of Labor – Erwin Pahmahmie, Executive Director

• Department of Transportation – Angela Blind, Executive Director

Governmental Affairs Office Creation

Governor Reggie Wassana continues to strengthen and build closer relationships between the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes and key Federal, State, Private and Non-Profit partners across the Indian Country in efforts to respectfully serve tribal members and create economic development opportunities.

To support this initiative, Gov. Wasanna selected tribal member LaRenda Morgan to serve as the Governmental Affairs Officer. The Governor and legislators, as well as tribal members, have met several candidates running for Oklahoma State offices in the 2018 elections. Some of these candidates across Oklahoma. The tribe has also been visited by Oklahoma State Senators and members of the Oklahoma House Representatives.

The Governor has also met with White House Officials as well as Federal Government Department Heads in Washington D.C.

The Tribe is being welcomed and new relationships are being formed on the Local State and Federal Levels.
