Cheyenne and Arapaho Higher Education Scholarships are available to enrolled tribal members throughout the U.S. Application deadlines are June 1st for Fall term; November 1st for Spring term; and April 1st for Summer term.

Applications should be mailed to the address listed below. The applications can be printed from the Cheyenne and Arapaho website.

In addition to scholarships, other services available to students include:

– Full and part-time scholarships, which includes students who may be incarcerated

– College Prep Workshops at local high schools, including Riverside Indian School

– Concurrent college class assistance for textbooks and fees (tuition is paid by OK)

– ACT information, test dates and application fees assistance

– High School Graduation assistance of $100 to be used for graduation expenses

– Back to College events and student meetings at local colleges

– Incentive Awards for college students who complete full-time status with Grade Point Averages (GPA) of 3.00-3.49 ($100), 3.50-3.99 ($150) and 4.00 ($250).

– Incentive Awards for attainment of Degrees: Associates ($300), Bachelors ($400), Masters ($500) + a Pendleton, Doctorate Degrees ($1,000) + a Pendleton.

– Fall Conference:  A ‘High School to College Prep’ workshop is held each fall to present a variety of programs to students.

– Junior-Senior Christmas Event

– Spring Conference

– OCIE Oklahoma Indian Student Honor Society

– Annual Graduation Banquet

– Back to College Events
