The Cheyenne and Arapaho School Clothing Program was established to provide tribal students, between the ages of 3-18, with funds to purchase clothing for school.
Depending on funding available and the age of the student, the program can provide up to $400 for the purchase of clothing. All enrolled tribal members between the age of 3 (by Sept 1) and 18, and who are enrolled in Head Start through High School for that school year, are eligible for the supplemental funds allotted for the School Clothing Program. The School Clothing Program accepted applications for the 2023/2023 school year from 4/26/2023 to 12/18/23.
2,837 Cheyenne and Arapaho tribal students were assisted and the total amount issued was $938,400.00.
