HUD ROSS (Resident Opportunities and Self-Sufficiency) Program
The HUD ROSS Program aids Tribal members in achieving self-sufficiency by offering resources and services to enhance their quality of life and financial stability.


The ROSS Program connects tribal residents with case management services that include:
- Employment & Job Readiness: Assistance in finding employment, job training, and career development.
- Financial Literacy: Workshops and counseling on budgeting, saving, and credit management to help residents achieve financial stability.
- Education Support: Guidance on completing high school diplomas or GEDs, accessing college scholarships, and enrolling in vocational training programs.
- Health & Wellness: Programs and resources related to physical and mental health, including access to healthcare, counseling services, and wellness initiatives.
- Housing Stability: Resources to help maintain stable housing, such as assistance with rent payments, eviction prevention, and community engagement.
- Access to Community Resources: Referral services to help residents connect with local organizations offering additional services such as food assistance, transportation, and childcare.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the HUD ROSS Program, residents must:
- Be a member of a family currently receiving services from a program offered by the Cheyenne and Arapaho Housing Authority.
- Demonstrate a need for the services and opportunities provided by the ROSS Program.
- Be committed to working toward the goals of self-sufficiency and independence.
- Be income qualified using current HUD income guidelines.
